Curiosity III Challenge 1

Linda Ledbetter is at it again, posting challenges from Tim's Compendium of Curiosities Volume 3...you can check it out HERE.  The first challenge is Paint Marbling...found on page 43, I believe.
Soooooo.......I decided at the last minute to combine the challenge with a card I needed to make for an upcoming holiday. :)
Here we go:
The marbling technique is pretty much covered up, but it's there in the background.  I used some Studio 490 stencils and stamps.  For the flower, I covered some chipboard with white embossing paste, let it dry naturally, then covered with distress paints..mustard seed, rusty hinge and spiced marmalade.  The leaves are just chipboard stamped and inked.
You might want to consider entering the challenge, Inspiration Emporium has a $50 gift certificate up for grabs!
Thanks for stopping, and enjoy your weekend!

I adore the way your marbling created a fab coloured background to the stencilling and gorgeous flower. It wouldn't have looked the same without it. Jenny x
