PNC Card and Birthday Card...

PNC stands for Pop N Cuts, fyi.
Is this another blog post for the week? Wow. Skels can't believe it either...

I can't look...really?
Ok, maybe just a peek...
I made a card a while back for a friend, let's get right to it, shall we? Some bright colors for a change:
 Here's the inside:
Another angle of the inside, but apparently not a better shot, lol:
All the stamps are Studio 490.

So, I made a birthday card for, well, someone you might know... and actually, it was a challenge for the EWV Yahoo Group. All the stamps are Studio 490...here's the front...

The kraft paper is Kraft Fun Day from My Mind's Eye...love that stuff, and the patterned paper is K & Company..an older line..Margo. Yeah, old, but still beautiful IMO, and I've been hoarding avoiding using it. Here's the inside, and I really like how it turned out.

That little guy is PERFECT for holding the balloons, which were just cut out freehand. I added some distress stickles to the lamp post light, to give the appearance of ...... light.  The Archival ink in Aquamarine matched this paper line perfectly. Happy coincidence! See, it does pay to hold onto paper....
So, yeah, another post done! Whadda ya say Skels?

Woot! Woot!
And, just a note, you know how sometimes it gets overwhelming checking Google Reader when you follow, like, a gazillion blogs? I've decided that it would be nice to be able to have folks check a box, rather than feel like they have to comment, so, hopefully, if I've done it correctly, there should be reaction boxes at the end of the post. Think of it as "guilt free commenting".  If none of those really express how you feel, well, you'll have to leave a comment. lol. I may change the wording if I feel like getting creative. Of course, comments are still welcome and appreciated.
Thanks for stopping by!

I bought the pop 'n cut base and have done NOTHING with it! What else is new? But your cards are inspiring me to get to it. Thanks, my very talented friend. And say hi to Skels for me. :)
