The Three Dudes

Hey Ho!  Good to see you again, thanks for stopping by!

I came back from a wonderful weekend visiting my arty friends, Michael and Nancy.  Ahhh, what a great time we had!  Lots of laughs, creative sharing and shopping.  Michael had picked up some of the Idea-ology timepieces at a very reasonable price, and being the generous soul he is, gave Nancy and I one each to alter.  So, that's what we set about doing.  As it happens, the theme for Grungy Monday this week is wearable art...sweet!  I love it when things come together like that!  Any hoo, here's my finished piece, and it's kind of hard to see, I know.

Nice mirror image of the camera, eh?
The background is old paper from a dictionary, with UTEE melted over it.  Then some gears, wire, and shrink plastic with the three dudes from Tim's Steampunk set, and the pointing hand.  I should have either done those on white shrink plastic or backed it with paper, as they don't stand out very well.
Thanks for stopping by, stay tuned, I might actually have another post this week! What?????

19 watcha thinkin'?:

Your watch looks great Lori! I love that funky twisted coil, and I can't get over how many other goodies you were able to fit in there. It never occurred me to think shrink!
