...I like challenges. Why, you ask? Because at least you have a starting point for an idea...
So, I will try to keep the words brief, because I have three challenges to show you.
First, the final CCC. What can I say, it's been a great ride! Lovely Linda has put so much time and effort into this event, I can't thank her enough!
I ended up taking bits and pieces of stuff I had left over from other projects and put them together. The stitching thing with wire, was, well, frustrating. I poked way too many holes. Finally, I just ended up using the tiny attacher, and realized half way thru that I couldn't reach the one side with it. Hence the mish mash of staples and wire. lol. Oh, and the heart is metal, puffed out, which you can't tell here...
Over at the Order of the Opus Gluei, the theme is "show us a NEW TRICK". This could be taken several ways, lol, but according to the orders bestowed upon us by the Poobahs, it involves showing a new technique. Using something from the paper craft world. Not what some of you might be thinking...yes, it's a rowdy crowd I run with....
My new trick is using metal tape sheets on Clearly for Art, which is a plastic modeling film that you can mold when heated. It doesn't shrink either. The lovely Wendy is the genius behind this product and I so willingly admit, the technique itself...it can be found on the butterfly on this tag, which is also the tag that was empty a couple of days ago, except for the "perfect stamping" background....
And finally, Hels Sunday Stamper this week is "NATURE". Well, I had this tag leftover from a previous project, it is collaged paper from 7 Gypsies Conservatory, with a coat of beeswax over it, and I added a little banner with sentiment (Studio 490), the butterfly, which is a rub on, and my little UTEE bluebird. I haven't decided what might be a good topper for it yet...lol...suggestions are welcome. I might just put it on a card or something.
Wow, I'm exhausted. Perhaps a piece of chocolate might give me a burst of energy...
Hope you all are having a good week, thanks for stopping by...

Love your final piece for the CCC! I too had issues with the wire which is why I switched to the fabulous tiny attacher:) Your other tags are great too, I need to find the Clearly Art stuff, haven't even seen it in real life but you keep talking about it so it must be good.
WOWsers Lady. These are ALL gorgeous. I know I am supposed to like the OPUS GLUEI tag the most, but quite honestly, I can't pick. They are all so wonderful.
The OPUS GLUEI Poobahs are very open minded. ANY new tricks are welcome to our challenge. (wink, wink) AND how in the world could you NOT have a bit (or lot) of chocolate!?!?!?! It is a NECESSITY of life in general, but especially for you for these fabulous creations.

wowzers! you've posted quite an impressive collection of art here! I love the sentiment on the first one, fitting for the last CCC challenge.
Well, wow! What beautiful pieces!
Yep, challenges can be a really good thing, that bit of inspiration, and it certainly looks as if you were inspired!!!
:)
Lori, you never, ever fail to impress and inspire me, and you've done it three times over here!
Your CCC montage is stunning, girlfriend! I love the combo of brads, wire stitching and tiny staples-- it's beautifully grungy and so perfect for the design you've created. What a great way to rock the leftovers! And, that sentiment couldn't be more perfect for the CCC Grand Finale!
Your OOG piece is fabulous, too! I have GOT to try that cool technique with the metal tape and Clearly for Art-- how cool IS that?! WOW!
And, then there's your Sunday Stamper tag, every bit as gorgeous a work of art as the first two, and so spring-y and pretty it makes my heart happy.
You have been such a wonderful companion and inspiration throughout the entire CCC, Lori, and you're such a crafty rock star-- a true role model for me! Thank you for being part of this series, and I really, REALLY hope you'll be back for the next chapter!
They are all fabulous!! Love the colors on the one for CCC!
Wow, you are one busy lady! I luv all your pieces, your energy overwhelmes me, at least in ART! lol, I agree, sit back and have some chocolate.
Came to see your CCC piece, and found how busy and creative you've been. Fabulous pieces all.

Oh, Lori, these are great! I shouldn't play favorites and it is hard, but I do love the tag you made for Opus Gluei so much. I want to find this Clearly For Art because I think the possibilities with it are virtually endless - and I really like how you used it with the metal tape for the butterfly. Your projects are always stunning - color richness and lots of textures!
Thank you for participating with us at Opus Gluei!
Lori, you are an absolutely amazing artist!
I love each piece, especially that every one has an individual and different look! Awesome!
Wow, girl, there is no end to your ingenuity! I love these projects - so many fun details, so beautiful, so interesting to ponder!
