It's a Mosiac, .... Man

The theme for Louise's' Tag Tuesday this week is Mosiac; and the theme for Hels Sunday Stamper is Charms and/or ManSo, I had an idea, and it sprouted and became a two-fer. lol.
Here we go:

I covered the tag with Espresso paint dabber for the "grout".  I then cut up scraps from the Lost and Found paper stack, and glued them down.  One thing I have found about this technique, other than I spend way too much time arranging my pieces, is making sure your pieces have three or four sides only. lol. Once the adhering was done, I covered all the pieces with Dimensional Glaze. Glossy Accents would work just fine, too.
The "man" (I have no idea who he is, he's from the Lost and Found...paper stack that is), was adhered to a gadget gear cut from grungeboard, and covered with Rock Candy Crackle.  The gadget gears are covered with a mixture of gold and vintage photo distress ep.  The gadget gear above him had Tim's clock stamp as a background, you can barely see it, but it's there!
Then, some black ribbon behind the dude on the gear, attached with the tiny attacher (love it!), and some Idea-ology bits, DONE! Woohoo!
In retrospect, the mosiac is so busy, the other gadget gears don't show up very well, so I could have left those off, but they're on there for good now.
Ah, come to think of it, there's no stamping on this at all, so I'm not sure it qualifies for Hels challenge, but I'll give it a try. Worse that can happen is deletion of my link and banned for eternity from future challenges, I guess.
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget, there's still time to enter the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge - the theme is Show Your Newest Stamp!
Go Be Creative!

I really like the different papers used for the mosaic background. The dabber for grout was a great idea.

I love the mosaic look, and FYI, the gears show up just fine.
I doubt that Hels will ban you forever, but IMO, you used ink, so that qualifies you. Not that anyone asked for my opinion, but when did that ever stop me?

Like the mosaic effect, and the image in the gear and the other embellishments are very cool. I like the masculine feel but also that it has warmth to it.

I like it. I think the gears look fine since they're not busy as well. They ground your tag a bit. Nice!

Excellent! Your tag is excellent! I love your mosaic, and actually disagree about the gears: I think they add small bits of solid color and form.
